Joy Express

A couple of weeks ago, I finally got organised and bought some crystals for Chakra work.  I had some a year or so ago but ‘retired’ them to the garden.   Over the Christmas/New Year period, I kept getting ‘flashes’ of a new set of crystals to use when I rested.  It was a really nice feeling thinking back on how much better I felt when I’d worked with the crystals.

So, Kels and I went shopping to our local New Age shop and I bought: Charoite, Kyanite, Blue Calcite, Varisate, Yellow Jasper, Orange Selenite and Strawberry Quartz.  I was thrilled with the crystals which chose me – I haven’t had any of them before and they are such gentle, majestic colours. 

I had a rest the following day and put the crystals on my chakras – Charoite at the crown, down to Strawberry Quartz on the root.  45 minutes later I got up feeling like I’d had a Reiki session.  Bliss.

Of all the crystals I collected, Strawberry Quartz has had the most impact.  The information on the dish said:

“Strawberry Quartz assists in living consciously and joyfully in the moment, sees humour in all situaltions.  Has intense energy that assists dream recall.  Stabilises connections between the physical body and aura.  Keeps you connected, brings light to hidden causes of current situations.  Assists in positive affirmations.”

Interestingly, I took it to my counselling session on Friday, tucked in my bra, which is something I almost never do any more.  I just felt guided to do it, so I did.  During my session, Tina took me on a guided meditation through my heart to reconnect a part of me that had become lost when I was about 5 years old.  It was profound and moving.  It was something we have been talking about for over 6 months and finally the pieces fell in to place.  And, I think that the Strawberry Quartz was instrumental in bringing “light to hidden causes of current situations”.
