I’m approaching this book as if it’s a text book and I am back at Uni.  I know there is information that is Important for me to read … and assimilate.

This is some of it:

“… the most important desire of all: the seeking of joy.  For in seeking and finding joy, you not only find perfect alignment with your Inner Being and with who-you-really-are, but you also find vibrational alignment with all things that you desire.”

p. 63

Since I chose to focus on JOY, a couple of years ago, I notice JOY all around me.  After all, that’s why you are here, isn’t it?  To connect with that JOYful energy.

I find it so much easier to see/hear/feel the JOY in my local community, and the greater community.  I LOVE that “The Law of Attraction” can explain to me why I don’t wish to read the newspaper or watch the television news … I want to connect with the JOY filled energy!

I’m off to buy food for dinner, visiting my Lovely Butcher and Fruiterer, then to indulge in an Angel Lunch with my friend, Jo.  What JOY!

You know that David and I had a “Michelle ‘n’ David” day on Monday, don’t you?  It really was one of the most fabulous days we’ve had together in many years.

What’s really AWESOME is that the connection we re-forged on Monday is still there today.

David and I went to High School Together.  We were in the same, very tight knit group of friends, from the age of 13-14.  We started dating 6 years after leaving school, and have been married for almost 20 years.  It took us a little over 9 years of child rearing before we ‘remembered’ to have a break from the family and take some time for us as a couple.

Today, it’s like the circle has gone all the way around, again.

We started with a close Friendship; we fell in love; we might have lost our way a little while we were in the thick of starting a family and getting used to being ‘diluted’.  :-D

Now, we are able to Reconnect more often, with that ‘couple’ energy … and this week, we’ve Reconnected with the Friendship energy, too.

I have a big SMILE on my face.

And, on a more serious note, I have realised (again!) that relationships take work.  And, commitment.  And … time out for rekindling the Friendship.

When did you last have a Day Out with your Loved One?

Law of Attraction

tn_law_of_attraction.jpg I’ve started reading this book by Esther & Jerry Hicks, having walked by it for several months, on bookshop shelves.

It’s absolutely worth the read … Abraham explains the connection between our physical self and our Inner Being.  Already, I can see how thinking positively, and connecting with my emotional self, can bring about all the things I want in my life.  Our thoughts are magnets – all that we dwell on, emotionally, is attracted to us.

All the Negative words/thoughts/actions ATTRACT more of the same.  More Negative words/thoughts/actions.

And, Positive Thoughts ATTRACT Positive Thoughts.

Which kind of thoughts do you want to attract?

Check out the book.

Great Service

Yesterday, David and I had Yum Cha at Plume – it was lovely!

One of the things I noticed was the attentiveness of the staff.  Yum Cha tends to be a busy meal, anyway, but the lovely gentlemen (’cause I couldn’t see any ladies) clearing tables of empty dishes and helping customers with their needs were Awesome.

It’s fabulous seeing people committed to their jobs and wanting to do them well.

Thank You!
