Harmony is the inner cadence of contentment we feel when the melody of life is in tune.

Do you feel a Sense of Harmony in your life, right now?

I feel some harmonious melodies running through my life but they are coloured by the drain of tiredness.  I feel tired in my body and my heart.

But, on the whole, I am more ‘In Harmony’ in my Soul, than in discord.

Sarah Ban Breathnach’s message today is about Learning to Pause. The first thing which really does disappear in a busy life is that time of stillness, the time where you can catch your breath and just centre yourself, again, into the ’symphony’ of life.

Do You remember to “Pause”?

I do – sometimes – and I am better at it than I used to be, partly because I have realised that ‘Michelle’s life’ flows much more smoothly when I am not so frantic, and partly because I have cultivated a group of very supportive people in my life to help me to remember to ‘pause’.

My inner dialogue asks me why I might be feeling grumpy or low in energy.  I look at what’s been going on in my day and can work out if I need to eat, or sit, or just take more time to ‘do life’.  “Passionate” Wild Woman reminded me of that, last week at our Wild Women Gathering ~ what message is your Soul trying to give you?  Do you really take the time to listen?

Today is a day to ‘pause’ and drift and flow with whatever the Universe has in mind for me.  There are no constraints on time, no expectations about what has to be achieved.  It’s just a day for feeling Harmonious and Balanced with Life.

  1. jenny Said,

I think i’ve been pausing all weekend – it’s fabulous to have a quiet one, instead of running with the ebb and flow of every beck and call!

Hi Michelle. I love your website. I’ve paused today. In fact, the whole family has paused. An early morning walk around Westerfolds Park followed by lunch and a nap, then a swim and sunbake in the back yard. I’m so paused today I feel like I’m sleepwalking. It’s wonderful. Sandy

  3. Michelle Said,

Thanks for your comments, Jenny and Sandy. I LOVE that we have all had an opportunity to ‘pause’ and really appreciate life and living. :)

  4. Beverly Said,

    Can I ‘pause’ my pause?
I am so busy (an exciting kind of busy) that I don’t have time to pause at the moment, but am looking forward to next week, when I plan to pause for about 10-12 weeks once my exam is over.
Hugs and a wonderful ‘pauseful day’
    Beverly
