Enthusiasm

EnthusiasmDay 2 of a new month and a new theme ~ ENTHUSIASM.  Day 1 was consumed with Oracle Cards: Readings for the month and my NEW Medicine Wheel Journey.  All in all, it was a very ‘enthusiastic’ day and I was really tired by the end of it! :-D

Denise Linn tells me that I “need to find joy in the ordinary events of life” (in her Guidebook) and the thought of being that enthusiastic, I confess, makes me tired!   However, I am all about ‘changing it up’, this month, so my intention is to Share the Little JOYs as well as the extraordinary moments.

JOY Is …

  • Finishing my book, The Viper, last night (that makes 33 for the year and 1 for May!) ~ Yay!
  • Making a colourful and healthy dinner for Kels to take to work, last night ~ Yay!
  • Getting 3 loads of washing and some vacuuming done ~ Yay!Dance Party at the Past Lives Workshop
  • Sharing Fabulous Photos of the Past Lives Workshop on Gentle Warriors ~ Yay!
  • Actually getting to the gym when I didn’t think I was going to get there ~ Yay!
  • Having a Very Successful treadmill session at the gym ~ Yay!
  • A wonderful Medicine Wheel One Year Layout session with Lovely Nikki ~ Yay!
  • Receiving an invitation to a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, interstate ~ Yay!
  • Enthusiastic people booking into my workshops ~ YAY!
  • Amazing comments from Very Appreciative People ~ YAY!

Already, today, I have had two ‘bursts’ of ENTHUSIASM … I found a FABULOUS Birthday Song on You Tube to share in Motivational Magic (it’s going to be the Birthday Song for May) and I’ve rocked out to it 4 times so far (think it may become an ear worm!) … I have consciously chosen to keep today free so I can have some ‘non-responsibility’ time and I am ‘enthused’ about changing up my noticeboards and cleansing the craft room (usually a ‘beginning of month’ ritual).

I am experiencing greater levels of ENTHUSIASM for my Free Time day, as I write, so I will indulge in Reading (time to start a NEW book), cardmaking (LOTS of cards on my To Create List), and some Couch Time.  All in all, ENTHUSIASM month has begun well! :-D

Awesome Events

I’m basking in the ‘tired’ afterglow of two FABULOUS events ~ the Daily Oracle Card Journey and the Past Lives Workshop.  We have immersed ourselves in Oracle Card Messages and fabulous conversations for days!

In a week filled with Animal Messengers sharing daily wisdom, I am still blown away by how appropriate the messages were.  I don’t really know how Oracle Cards work so perfectly … they just do!

During the week, on Thylacine Day – Wisdom – I had lots and lots of experiences with sharing my own wisdom and experiencing the wisdom of others.  On Fairy Penguin Day, I had the opportunity to interview David Wood of The Kickass Life Podcasts

The Kickass Life

The Past Lives Workshop was heaps of fun with lots of emotion ~ laughter and tears.  One of the things I really enJOYed was the Dance Parties.  Getting ‘out’ of everyday life through a great song and dance moment … getting back into ‘the zone’ after an intense past life guided meditation with a fabulous dance party … celebrating a wonderful event with another awesome Dance Party … Perfect!

Another thing which always amazes me and makes me feel quite humbled is the ease with which people connect to past lifetimes, and their comfort with sharing pretty ‘big’ stuff.  We had one ‘couch’ of people who all experienced intense past life trauma and they were gracious in their sharing, allowing us the most beautiful learning opportunities.

A special Shout Out to my dear friend, Andrea, who was AMAZING in her care of me, and us, and her gift of ‘cleaning up’ was just wonderful.  Thanks, Andrea! :-D

Signs & Synchronicities

Author: Michelle  //  Category: All Things Angels, Joy Express

Facilitating the Daily Oracle Card Journey means this week is filled with amazing messages and gifts of insight.  I love sharing Oracle Card messages and watching the story unfold, each day.

On Mondays, I have taken to choosing three Oracle Cards for each of the groups I am part of on Facebook.  This week, I also decided to do a Card Spread on the Journey.  That was six cards all up and, as is the way of the Universe, I was Blown Away by the syncronicity of those messages.  I still marvel at the concept that four different oracles can share messages that are so connected, and so ‘right’!

Do What You LoveInterestingly, not only were the Oracle Cards in harmony, but so were the other messages shared by Wise People I was listening to or watching on videos.

I know that the Journeys are always quite profound, with very interesting and insightful messages for Me, and also for the other people travelling with me.  In fact, this group of travellers is The Best!  They are very ‘sharing’ ~ of themselves and with each other.  It really is a JOY to observe. :-D

During the course of this week, I have noticed the signs (which began at the end of last week, as is the way with energies coming into my life) which were pointing me in the direction of my next destination.  I had been a bit challenged with getting back into the groove of life after being away on holidays and was in a bit of a ‘stuck’ space.  With the gift of Fabulous Girlfriends who reminded me of What I Do, easily and naturally, then immersing myself in the beginning of the Oracle Card Journey, I found myself ‘back’ on the path.

The signs I have received, this week, have all pointed to a path which is essentially about Getting a New Story.  Sonia Choquette’s Psychic Sit Up for this week is about embracing the ‘old story’ and moving on from it – clearing the slate ready to start a new story.  David Wood shared an AWESOME phrase in the podcast I listened to at the gym: “Life is a Collection of Stories”.  That really called to me.The Kickass Life  And, the Clarity Spread, from Scott Alexander King’s “Animal Dreaming Oracle Cards Guidebook”, literally gave me ‘clarity’ about making the commitment to the new path.

Maybe it’s not a ‘new’ path, as such, but more like being committed and focused on what I really want, going forward.  When I looked at the ‘signs’ around me, and the synchronous way of the Universe, I ‘saw clearly’ how my attitude and behaviour was letting me down.  180 degree turn and here I am, focused and committed to my path.

For this week, I have 3 Daily Disciplines for Success (a turn of phrase I adopted from Jack Canfield): Exercise, Writing and Cardmaking.  Already, I am noticing the challenge with my commitment.  I will find a way of ‘doing’ these Daily Disciplines which flows and works in harmony with my other daily commitments.  It’s a bit tricky, up front, but I have faith that I can work it out.  And, the best part of all?  I’m getting So Much Done and Learning A Lot, at the same time!

The Gift of a Healing Card Message

Author: Michelle  //  Category: All Things Angels

We’re having Oracle Card Readings on Motivational Magic, today, and this was mine.  Thank You!

Dearest Michelle,

The card that came through for you was “Practice the Art of Transformation”

“Today’s Lesson:
Acknowledge one situation in your life that’s taking your power. Transform that situation into something positive, and maintain that perspective as a spiritual discipline for the entire day. When your spirit slips into negativity, simply breathe, and then pray your way back to an inner space of positive visualization.

Your goal: to practice the art of transformation.”

My sense from this card is that you are spiritually evolving into a Higher State of Being. This is a powerful time for you. Your development is going faster and faster. You can leave all the dross behind now. Let it go. Any obstacles that seem to appear are nothing but illusions. Watch them dissolve like mist in the morning, and see the Light that is shining within you and all around you.

Much Love from my heart to yours. ♥

BELIEVE

Believe Vision BoardThe month is half-way through and I have just had a chance to look at my BELIEVE Vision Board!  It’s interesting that I have now done 3 or 4 Medicine Wheel One Year Layouts and some of the themes have started repeating themselves.  I guess each of the monthly themes are influenced by the overall theme for the year which means that this time, “Believe” is influenced by IMPECCABILITY,  whereas last time it was influenced by ABUNDANCE.

As I was reading my ‘beliefs’ on the vision board, I was thinking about what has taken place, recently, that either challenged my beliefs or was supported by what I believed.  The biggest one, is achieving a Breakthrough Goal that, in Jack Canfield’s words, “would represent a quantum leap for you and your career” (p.53 of “The Success Principles“).  In my case, my ‘career’ is ME.  I am living the journey of becoming whole and understanding where the Pieces of Me have been lost or hidden.  Setting a breakthrough goal is one which pushes me right out of my comfort zone … so, without realising it, I set one.  And, I achieved the first part of it.

I set a goal to go to Peru, by myself.  I’m not sure the “breakthrough” part was the actual trip to Peru but more the fact that I could see myself  doing it.  It took months for me to work through all the ‘stuff’ that had accumulated over the years, and to make sense of the ‘hidden’ obstacles from my childhood conditioning that were preventing me from booking immediately.  Last month, thanks to my ACTION theme, I booked the trip.  15 days away, by myself, touring Peru and Bolivia.  Impeccability Vision Board

When I look back at my IMPECCABILITY Vision Board, the phrase which leaps out at me is “Lead by Example”.  I think about what it is I BELIEVE and whether I am congruent with that.  I think about what it is that can and will extend me, as a “Michelle”, and the trip to Peru does that.  It pushed all my buttons: the money, the time away from Kels, going away on my own, frustration with David on all levels, and the simple fact that if I didn’t go would that be ok?  The answer was “no”.  It wouldn’t be ok because I am all about Being the Best ME I Can Be.  It’s what I expect of others so it’s what I expect of myself, too.

I believed in what I have worked on for 48 years – Me.  I have worked hard to overcome the challenges of my childhood experiences and the judgements I have received from others.  The person I am today is basically great, AMAZING even.

Now, I am up to Believing even more extraordinary things.  I spend my time thinking about just what it is I can do, be and have now that I have broken through the barrier of booking myself on a trip to South America on my own.  I confess: absolutely ANYTHING seems possible!  Now, it’s about claiming those ‘breakthrough’ ideas as if they were normal.  If this is what it feels like to be living a Kickass Life, then what kind of things do I BELIEVE are possible, now??

Peru Vision Board Booked sm

First up, I now BELIEVE that anything is possible! [I kinda believed that before but hadn't put it to the test in a 'big' way.]  For example, you know the idea that what you talk about and think about tends to come about?

I talk about The Kickass Life with David Wood, a lot.  I listen to the podcasts whenever I can (even on the holiday away – road trips are perfect for podcasts!!) and tell people about them, whenever I can.  Usually that’s David, and now he listens to them as well.  [oh, husband David that is!]  Well, I was commenting on The Kickass Life Facebook page and David (Wood) suggested we have a chat!  So, we are! :-D    That made me think about what I really want in the future … to hang out with David Wood and Jack Canfield and all their friends!  I BELIEVE that that will happen.  :-D

Oh, and to top off my BELIEVE month, David (husband) decided that he wanted to go to Peru with me … so he booked.

See?

Absolutely anything is possible, if you BELIEVE.

New Month, New Goals

Believe

It’s just a little bit magical to be sitting in a beautiful apartment, near the beach, dressed in summer pyjamas, drinking my first coffee of the day, considering what it is that I have learned and discovered during the last month and pondering what it is I may experience over the next month.  Such a beautiful environment for exploring the 11th month’s theme for my Medicine Wheel One Year Journey ~ BELIEVE.

It may be a ‘sign’ that the last book I read in ACTION month was “Losing My Virginity” by Richard Branson.  He is certainly an ‘action-focused’ man!!  He also ‘believes’ very strongly in what he is doing and what he has accomplished is nothing short of extra-ordinary.  [That would suggest the first strata of BELIEVE ~ something 'out of the ordinary'.]  I ‘believe’ that reading his story may have changed my life, just a little bit. Losing my Virginity

So, what will this month bring?  What goals do I want to achieve?

Last month, I had an Action List of 40 items, some of which had multiple parts.  I am very happy with how much I did achieve considering how many distractions also occurred.  One of the goals I was very proud of was the amount of reading I did ~ on my Action List was to read 4 novels and one non-fiction book.  Tick!  Victory!  That brings my total of Books Read in 2013 to 21.  I am very happy with that!!!  Earlier in the year, when I had time to read because it was school holidays, I decided that it was finally time to get back to reading more often and more regularly.  As much as I read for escapism, my ‘writer’s eye’ has been paying careful attention to what other authors say – how they ‘craft’ their concepts and use their words.  I ‘believe’ I am enJOYing the books even more, now. :-D

Goal #1: To read 4 novels and 1 non-fiction book in April.  (Thank goodness I have 4 more books in my luggage!)

Jack Canfield told me about Setting a Breakthrough Goal, in his book, “The Success Principles”.  At the time of reading, I wasn’t sure how to go about that but I now realise that I had already set a Breakthrough Goal and during ACTION month, I set it in motion.  My Vision Board was a godsend!  Now, I ‘believe’ anything is possible to achieve (thanks, again, to Richard Branson) and I am going to set about creating a new Vision Board with a long term Breakthrough Goal.

Goal #2:  Create Vision Board for my New Home and Location.

2013 is my Year Of Learning.  At the end of last year, I decided that it was time to do some ‘proper’ learning again.  Hence, the focus on reading non-fiction books (1 per month for the year is my current intention).  I also wanted to ‘go out’ and learn something new, once a month if possible.  In January, David and I attended a fantastic day event with Gregg Braden and Bruce Lipton.  I learned a LOT.  Since then, my focus has been to book in events to attend or to ‘notice’ things around me … Esther Hicks and I Can Do It! … adventures on the road trip from Melbourne to Ballina …

Goal #3:  Learn something new.

Other areas of focus for the month include Writing … it’s Archetypes month and I am looking forward to exploring those prompts, from my ‘creative’ self and maybe my past life self; Fitness … continuing on with Personal Training and attending the gym; Teaching … I have the Daily Oracle Card Journey and a Past Lives Workshop to facilitate and some readings to do with clients …

I ‘believe’ that April is going to be quite a Magical Month!

Archetypes

Author: Michelle  //  Category: All Things Angels, Writing

Just setting up my Writing Prompts for April and using Caroline Myss’ “Archetype Cards”.  Decided that exploring some past lives through these prompts would be great writing practice, too.  So, I’ve chosen 12 cards for the month and set the task of writing about 3 each week.

Writing Prompts April Week 1

When I shared these suggestions with the folks in our writing group it was interesting to see which Archetype they resonated with, the most.  Not surprisingly, it was the SEEKER.  :-D   As one who has just decided that the only way I can describe myself is as being on a journey to find the Pieces of Me, I think SEEKER is very appropriate.  I am quite inspired to see what kind of story comes from that prompt!

Writing Prompts April Week 2

So far, I am most excited about the second week’s prompts.  I relate really strongly to all three of these Archetypes.  The STORYTELLER is obvious … I find myself creating stories, listening to the stories of others, and interpreting stories pretty much all the time.  I know when my MEDIATOR hat is on and loved reading that we ALL have the SABOTEUR Archetype!  Such stories I can tell!

This week, I have read my 20th book for the year.  I am very attached to the Romance Fiction genre, I think because it’s easy and escapist.  Today, we leave on our Road Trip Vacation to Northern NSW and we are ALL tired.  The novels I am choosing to read are captivating and intriguing and stimulate my writing mind. :-D

It’s also nearly the end of the month; well, I’m calling it that because this is the last time I’ll be in the Craft Room during March.  ACTION month has been So Busy and, at this end of the journey, I have achieved a lot!  Today’s the day to tick off my Action List, on my ACTION Vision Board … of the 40 items on the list I think I have achieved most of them!  And, I’ve done some Breakthrough stuff, too.  YAY!

March is Action Month

Wisdom Jar

Wisdom Jar

This week’s creative activity has been to combine my love of Stampin’ Up! cardstock, ribbon and Flower Dies with making a Wisdom Jar.

There have been a lot of ‘jars’ floating around Pinterest and Facebook, over recent times, and I have LOVED the idea of having a jar where I can place notes about life and happenings and gratitude, each day.  As I was building my flowers ~ using the Bigz L Fun Flowers and Originals Blossom Party dies with the Big Shot ~ I was thinking about what exactly I wanted to manifest in my jar.

That became pretty obvious, pretty quickly!

I’ve been facilitating the Motivational Magic Daily Oracle Card Journey, this week, and there has been some AMAZING wisdom shared!!  There have also been some really gorgeous comments directed to me  …  appreciation and gratitude … and I wanted to keep them.  So, I’ve written some of them only coloured paper and others have been printed from my computer.  Each piece of ‘wisdom’ has been lovingly read, folded in half neatly, and ‘posted’ in my jar.

At the end of 2013, I will have a Jar filled with Wisdom ~ JOY, Gratitude, Learnings and Words Which Whisper To My Soul.

A gorgeous jar adorned with blooming flowers and filled with magic.

Perfect.

My Thoughts Create My Reality

Author: Michelle  //  Category: All Things Angels

You Can Create An Exceptional Life

My reading for this week is “You Can Create An Exceptional Life” by Louise Hay and Cheryl Richardson.  One of my goals for 2013 is to read MORE books for learning, and I hope I can manage one per week.  However, it takes a lot of self-discipline to sit and read something I am interested in but isn’t ‘escapist’ which is my normal book choice. :-D

So, today’s goal was to read 1 chapter.  VICTORY!  (Jack Canfield suggests using this word when you tick something off your To Do List as it’s positive and acknowledges your success more than just a tick. ;-) )

Of course, as is the way, there was some great wisdom to be learned but, more importantly, a clarity of awareness about something which has been happening to me more obviously of recent times.   This is the idea that Thoughts Create Your Reality.

A little example occurred, this morning.  I was feeling resentful of my space being ‘invaded’ (really it was just being shared but I am in a state of people-overload so my thoughts were much more focused on the negative) but didn’t feel I could speak up about it.  So, my body responded with a scratchy feeling in my throat and I almost vomited.  Yuk.  One of the ‘Wisdoms of My Body’ is that if I leave words unsaid the energy usually finds another way to come out.  Sometimes it’s through writing.  Other times it’s through purging.  Today, I literally ‘swallowed my words’ and they attempted to come back up.

Hmm.

Cheryl Richardson was talking about similar things in Chapter 2 of the book.  She refers to an incident where she spent quite some time looking at some beautiful orchids in a shop, was then distracted by someone asking her a question, and went to finish her shopping without buying the flowers.  Within a couple of days, she had not one but TWO orchids delivered to her home, from 2 different people, neither of whom knew she was considering buying her own.

I rememebered Creating My Reality a couple of weeks ago.  I was frustrated and angry about a situation I had got myself into and, after talking it through with David, decided that the outcome I really wanted was to not do the thing I’d committed to.  I remember stopping for a moment and asking my body what outcome I wanted, What Did I Truly Want In The Depths Of My Being?  My awareness flew from my head to my gut and I received perfect clarity: I wanted to stay home rather than go with some people to take them to their home (interstate).

David was surprised that I felt so strongly, but I wasn’t.  There were so many reasons that the situation I had gotten involved with was ‘wrong’.  I knew that I had to honour my deepest self, and I did.  I had a clear thought and it went out into the universe as energy only.

Within a couple of hours a situation occurred that shattered the relationship I had with these people.  By the end of the day I was informed that my services were no longer needed for the interstate travel!

Wow!

Looking back over the last couple of months I realise that my thoughts have directly contributed to something happening in my reality on several memorable occasions.  Some of it did become psychic attack, and that was a real shock to my awareness.  I am Very Careful about how, and to whom, I direct my thoughts, as a result.  The most amazing thing about it all is that I can actually ‘see’ the link between my thought and the outcome I experience.  And, I realise that I am truly creating my own reality.  I do need to be careful about what I wish for.

The energy coming into the world of the Daily Oracle Card Journey travellers is AWAKENINGmy awareness is awakening and I am seeing the world around me with very different eyes.

Awakening

Daily Oracle Card Journey

Author: Michelle  //  Category: All Things Angels

Today marks the beginning of the 7th Daily Oracle Card Journey at Gentle Warriors.  I love this time of the year, being able to hang out in the wonderful energy of Oracle Card Messages in the Forum and then indulge in all things inspiring and motivating on Facebook.  All round, it’s a great world to live in.

This time, we are journeying with Denise Linn’s Oracle Card Decks ~ Soul Coaching (R) Oracle Cards and Gateway Oracle Cards.  These two decks sit permanently on my desk, next to my computer, ready to be called on as I need to or want to.  They are like family. :-D

What I am most looking forward to, this journey, is using several different layouts of cards.  The use of extra cards in a reading allows for a more complete message so I thought we’d begin with a “Four Directions” spread.  What’s coming in to our lives … What’s going out of our lives.

So Much Fun!

Awesome way to begin the New Year!
