Oracle Cards ~ Final Week of Readings for April

Author: Michelle  //  Category: All Things Angels

What a complicated week this has been, with the Easter and ANZAC Day holidays.  I feel like I’m beginning ‘Wednesday’ today rather than Friday!  I guess it seems more confusing because I have only really had a couple of days of ‘normal’ routine and I would usually explore the Oracle Cards from the week much sooner.

I haven’t focused much on the Soul Coaching Oracle Card messages, this week, because they really did seem ‘in the flow’ of what is going on in my life.  I definitely related to the SIMPLICITY message ~ I LOVE decluttering life and the house!!  Not that you can tell with my craft room filled with Stampin’ Kids Workshop projects and Angels In May preparation!  But, I have done some really thorough chores, since routine went back to normal and that has involved ‘simplifying’ ~ I have felt HUGE Gratitude for the state of the kids’ living area since introducing it to a feather duster and the vacuum cleaner!  The space and energy are significantly clearer. :-)

The VOYAGE card is about undertaking a Spiritual Voyage ~ literally, it is reflective of my Angel world, in May.  I have a month filled with Readings, Workshops and Gatherings.  And, FLOW is a confirmation that I am back ‘in the flow’ of life, again.  YAY!  I know the Angel Friends receiving these messages have been really appreciative of the connections with lovely energy and messages.’

Thank you so much for the reading, I always look forward to them on a Monday, it seems to set me up for the week.

Sonia Choquette’s Trust Your Vibes Oracle Cards are always pertinent to what’s going on in my world and the messages are simple and easy to understand.  This week’s message for my Angel Friend was DOWNTIME.  Perfect.  It was a reminder that a good and balanced life involves Downtime so we are to ensure that we schedule it!  I thought it a great message for the last couple of days of the Easter Weekend, and for the week of normal routine with school beginning again.  I have enJOYed the opportunity to do things for myself rather than having to always consider the kids.  On a more serious note, DOWNTIME is a message to remember when my commitments with others become unbalanced with my commitment to myself ~ energy going out must have an opportunity to be renewed so taking some ‘time out’ is a priority.

I think my favourite messages, this month, have come from the Animal Dreaming Oracle Card Deck.  I LOVE Soul Coaching cards and they are my ‘deck of choice’ when doing readings but the messages from the Animals have been so poignant and I have been sharing the energy with Lovely Mark in Spain, each week, who has gifted me a reading in return.

I am fascinated by ANT … I enJOY watching Ants focused on their work, working as a team … Mark commented that he does feel like he is “harnessing his own power” and I agree.  The ‘story’ of our card messages this month has been one of self-reliance and responsibility, which we have both been working on.  Now ANT has come along to say that going forward from here will be easier because of those skills developed and the support of those around us.  That fits very much for my life, too.

BUTTERFLY is perfect for my final reading of the month.  The messages shared include the fact that after a period of ‘darkness’ in your life, ‘light’ comes.  I began my month with lots of dark emotional stuff happening and now have come through that to the place of peace, again.  In fact, I think that maybe a lot of the grief of my father’s death 15 months ago, has moved on.

But, I especially liked this comment from Lovely Mark …

And from me- I always see the butterfly as a fragile and beautiful creature- yet know there is ‘the butterfly effect’ – to me this says that as you ‘flap your wings’ on the other side of the world you enable change right over here too.

What a gift!

I believe that the Butterfly Effect happens everywhere … how will You ‘flap your wings’, today?  What ‘effect’ will your actions have on the other side of the world?

[I am off to Angel Lunch so we will be sending out powerful messages of Love and JOY!  I'm sure they will reach Mark in Spain. :-D ]

Going On An Adventure

Author: Michelle  //  Category: Joy Express

April has been filled with Adventure ~ I was looking at the photos from our Easter break and thinking how much easier life is when you plan ‘proper’ downtime.  For me, ‘downtime’ involves removing myself from the house and getting away somewhere where I can’t do my ‘normal’ routine.

The beginning of the month was like setting off in the car to destinations unknown … what would the days bring?  What experiences would I have?  What learning would I do? How would I feel by the end of the month?

I have been blessed with April being filled with a few things which don’t occur all the time.  David and I have had several ‘dates’ ~ to the movies, to dinner and the B.B. King concert, to impromptu dinner, and Rock of Ages  yet to come (check out the Opening Night Video on the website!).  I have had the opportunity to spend a LOT of time with Kels while she’s been healing her knee and we’ve shared quality time and experiences.  We have enJOYed the school holidays’ change of routine and extended Easter Break.

Most of all, I think I have enJOYed the Adventure which comes with Learning.

I have learned a LOT, this month.  April began with tumultuous emotional stuff ~ addressing friendship challenges, mother challenges and daughter challenges.  I had the most magnificent day with Brian Weiss, revisiting Past Life Regressions and exploring new learning from my Past Lives.  I have clearer understanding about a couple of significant friendships and a direction to take with my writing, as well as a New Passion for psychometry!

Each week, I have been blessed to share Oracle Card Readings with lovely Angel people … their feedback has been fabulous and very helpful with understanding my path, too.  I have learned a lot about my life and seen how the weekly card message sets a tone and path for the month.  It’s quite a blessing to have such fabulous confirmation about where I am at.

The person I am emotionally, now, is a different person from the beginning of the month.  That has been quite the adventure!

Driving down the Hume Freeway, gazing at the Brindabella Ranges, noticing the character of the cows and sheep in the paddocks, checking out the quirky cars off to some kind of meet, sharing the cocoon of family and chocolate has been an adventure.

And, it’s been an opportunity to think about what has happened over the month, what I have learned, how I have moved forward.  I have enJOYed the learning; I have enJOYed the experiences; I have enJOYed the reassessing; I have enJOYed the moments of laughter.

I do like being able to see where I was and how I have got to where I am now.

Definitely an Adventure-filled month!

Sweet & Sour Top Note Quilted Card Set

Author: Michelle  //  Category: Stamping

The last card set I created with the fabulous project instructions from Chiaki Haverstick used the Sweet & Sour Designer Series Paper.  I had already made up a couple of samples for the workshop and finished the set the following week.

I think I like this combination of colours most of all.  I do LOVE the vibrancy of Pumpkin Pie and Rose Red with a little (deleted) Purely Pomegranate for depth.

Mum now has some gorgeous Card Sets to choose from!

Monochromatic In Colour Notes

Author: Michelle  //  Category: Stamping

I’m going to get the girls making their own “Girlfriend Notes” at the next Stampin’ Kids Workshop.  I’ve been playing with my leftover Love Notes from last year’s Ideas Book & Catalog which inspired me to make up a bunch of Note Cards in the 3″x6″ size, in a range of colours.

One of the things I want to talk about at the workshop is the use of a Monochromatic Colour Scheme.  I had a play with the Dynamic Duo combinations from the Stampin’ Up! Colour Coach and LOVED how they turned out.

I used the hostess set which incorporates images for the SU! punches and added some In Colour Designer Series Papers … WOW!  Super Cute and just right for ‘Girlfriends’!

Animal Dreaming Oracle Cards

Author: Michelle  //  Category: All Things Angels

Between the card messages I send to a couple of Angel Friends and the card message I receive in return, I get to indulge in 3 Animal Dreaming Card Messages each week, this month.

Again, the synchronicity of the Universe astounds me.  Within a day or so of sending out the message from Kookaburra, I was outside listening to the most fabulously raucous chorus of Laughing that I have heard in a long time.  The Kookaburras had gathered a couple of trees away and were having an awesome conversation!

The message for me, from my lovely Angel Friend, Mark, was from Eagle ~ funnily enough, I was thinking that Eagle when I sent Mark’s reading through and that was the Animal Dreaming Message for me!

What I like most about Eagle’s message is the reminder that one benefits from looking at life from above, from a distance.  Taking a step back and assessing what’s going on, or not even assessing so much as observing where one is at, can be most beneficial.  That’s certainly relevant to me.  And, I really like the reminder that we are not alone, that Spirit is all around us; watching, guiding and supporting.

I Love the Animal Dreaming Messages!

Punch Bunch Baby Card

Author: Michelle  //  Category: Stamping

I was Very Inspired by a baby card created by Mel Sharp and knew I had to make one!  I had intended to create 2 – a girl card and a boy card but haven’t quite got to the boy version, yet. :-D

I used Pink Pirouhette, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose for my colours and some leftover Pretty in Pink striped grosgrain ribbon from my stash.

I really enJOYed making this card and I’m very appreciative of Mel’s inspiration!

Thanks, Mel!

Scalloped Envelope Note Card

Author: Michelle  //  Category: Stamping

I love surfing other people’s blogs for inspiration and one of my favourite “Inspiring People” is Becky Roberts.  I can often find something a little bit different and new to re-create or with which to stimulate my creativity.

I had ‘stashed’ the idea of a Scalloped Envelope Note Card away for a while – Becky had some stunning creations on her blog, a while ago, and I finally created my own.  I was on a mission to use up some of the remainder Autumn Traditions Designer Series Paper in my stash and I am thrilled with how this card turned out!  I just LOVE that Autumn Leaf design!!

Thanks, Becky!
