JOYful Things

Author: Michelle  //  Category: All Things Angels, Joy Express

I have decided that this week is definitely JOY week and mixed through are tendrils of MIRACLES energy … taking a little moment of time to reflect on the happenings of the last few days allows me to realise that there have been a lot of Amazing experiences occurring which seem so normal that I don’t always realise how magical they are!

Last night, Josh celebrated his 18th birthday with a party at the gymnastics club … my JOY was spending time with dear, dear friend, Matty Brown - such a dear friend that we call ‘family’.  We see Matt rarely, these days, and it was such a JOY to have some uninterrupted time with him before he leaves for a 2 year stint doing circus performing overseas.

A MIRACLE was sitting outside with David and having a bunch of Josh’s friends come up and start chatting with us ~ so delightful to hang out with people who are young and vibrant and beginning their lives – I realise that makes me sound really old but that was a Moment In Time which doesn’t occur in my life very often so it was quite profound.

Yesterday afternoon, I had an oasis of time while the house was empty and decided to “Eat That Frog” ~ I had only 7 Soul Coaching Oracle Card Readings left to complete for my certification homework and haven’t done any for over a week – I’ve kind of lost momentum and also been ‘refocused’ with my Simply Angels ~ Pay It Forward journey.  I totally, thoroughly enJOYed working through 2 reading layouts, both 12 card spreads, for 2 lovely friends.  WOW!  I loved the JOY I felt while doing what I LOVE and the feeling of success from ‘Eating a Frog’ (or 2!).

Friday’s JOY was spending the day with dear friends, Amalia, Peter and Lee, planning for the Hurstbridge Psychic Expo - So Much Fun and so much awesome stuff shared and organised!  The MIRACLE part of the day was spending a couple of hours exchanging and sharing oracle card and tarot readings with Peter and Lee … many years ago, I longed for such opportunities and felt like all my Christmas’ had come at once on the rare occasion I was out with my Clairvoyant friends and they engaged in card readings!  That afternoon, I was one of those doing readings; receiving incredible wisdom from Peter, who’s wings stand strong and proud and are oh so Magnificent, and sharing an amazing experience with my dearest friend, Lee, giving a reading to Peter using both Tarot and Oracle Cards.  WOW!   In fact, if I was to really think about the ULTIMATE magical experience I could ever imagine, that would have been it!  Truly a MIRACLE.

And, that was just the last 48 hours … today’s JOYful thing is creating the March Edition of The JOYful Warrior.  Awesome!

I LOVE my Life!

JOY or Miracles?

Author: Michelle  //  Category: All Things Angels, Joy Express

Hmm.  Is this week JOY week or MIRACLES week?

I’m sure it doesn’t really make a huge amount of difference ’cause both and neither could have been the theme for the past week and both could easily be the theme for this week, of IMPECCABILITY month!

Key words on my Vision Board, this month, have been “discipline” and “clear communication”, both concepts have featured really strongly in my activities and experiences.  I have been learning about ‘parameters’ and ‘frameworks’ and giving ‘some’ of myself rather than ‘all’ of myself, to those around me.

In fact, this month has been up there with TRANSFORMATION month!

“Discipline” and “organisation” are the key words for this week.  I have a LOT to do and it’s going to take a lot of good management to come through with energy and a feeling of achievement.  The projects and commitments are Wonderful ~ Sustenance for the Soul Gathering (so many things to choose from to share and indulge for the evening!); preparation day for the Hurstbridge Psychic Expo, with Lee, Amalia and Peter (to create the BEST EVENT ever for each of us!); Josh’s 18th Birthday Celebration; the Vision Board Workshop for the upcoming month; and The JOYful Warrior Go Live, next week!

I will be noticing the MIRACLES and the JOY which will be bubbling around my awarenesses over the next few days.  My JOY today is the creating of a handmade card (So Cute!) while listening to Denise Linn’s Lesson 1 of the Soul Coaching Oracle Card Reader course ~ all before breakfast!  I have been So Inspired that I posted a Fabulous Oracle Card Message at Gentle Warriors Facebook page, too!

Hmm.  I think that this week really is JOY week!

Stampin’ Sunday ~ SIMPLY ANGELS: Pay It Forward

Author: Michelle  //  Category: Joy Express, Stamping

One of my projects for 2012 is to send out weekly JOY in a handmade card, via the postal service.  I did this a few years ago and really enJOYed it!  Now that I have a much clearer vision of what I want to achieve in the next part of my life, Simply Angels ~ Pay It Forward has been resurrected and revamped.

My intention is to post approximately 80 handmade cards out, in 2012, for no other reason than Sharing JOY.  4 times a year, I will be posting an extra 7 cards … Batch of JOY week … because I can! :-D

This week has been one of the Batch of JOY weeks because I was inspired by Valentine’s Day! I am really thrilled to have been able to send out cards to wonderful people (including several couples) just to Share LOVE

I have also thoroughly enJOYed the creative process (my sore arm and ‘cutting’ muscles reflect the volume of ‘creating’ I have been doing!) and indulging in a range of fabulous new ideas and concepts inspired by the Stampin’ Up! product catalogs.

The journey has been quite intense because not only have I been sending out cards for Simply Angels ~ Pay It Forward, I have had birthdays to acknowledge and a stash of cards to create for Mum!

I have loved exploring new designs, playing with new product (I  confess to having become a bit enamoured with Smooch Spritz!), revisiting the Ideas Book & Catalog and Summer Mini for inspiration, and finding new ways to use favourite stamps and dies.

Really, Stampin’ Up! is a one stop shop just perfect for the Simply Angels ~ Pay It Forward journey!

You’re Amazing! :-D

All product is from Stampin’ Up!

Wings

Author: Michelle  //  Category: All Things Angels

What kind of (etheric) wings do you have?

This is a question Doreen Virtue asks, in Realms of the Earth Angels, to help people decide whether they are an Incarnated Angel or an Incarnated Elemental.

I’ve been exploring “Wings” for a while and have discovered that they come in all shapes and sizes and often represent key qualities in personality and empowerment.

I’m exploring again! :-D

I’m curious to hear about YOUR wings!  What do they look like?  Do they have feathers ~ white, black, bird-style or angel-style?  Are they butterfly or dragonfly-styled?  Or are they Dragon Wings?

The JOYful Warrior has a couple of articles about Wings and I am going to explore more about them (and write more, too), so I’d LOVE to hear from you!

Leave me a comment, here at JOY Express, or via my email (on left in the Simply Angels box) … I’d love to share YOUR story in The JOYFul Warrior!

Thank You! :-D

Dare to Be Happy

Author: Michelle  //  Category: Joy Express

I was listening to Week 3 of The Answer is Simple, this morning, and Sonia has invited us to “Dare to Be Happy”.

I Love this!

So many people around me are not happy.  Even more people ‘out there’ are busy sharing their woes and ‘arguing’ for their unhappiness, for their ‘un-JOY‘, that it would seem there is an epidemic of misery in my local society.

It’s a habit.

And, it’s an easy habit to indulge.

A really hard habit to break.

I have a friend who ‘thinks differently’ and feels like she is an ‘alien’ in society.  She feels that she doesn’t fit in.  She has lots of friends but she is lonely.

I have another friend doing it tough.  Being empowered is something she really struggles with and it is easier to continue in the ‘old’ ways, engage in the ‘easy’ patterns of behaviour.

It’s MIRACLES week, in IMPECCABILITY month, and I am on the look out for the Miracles around me.  They are a bit hard to find ’cause my state of mind is a bit ‘below par’, at the moment, but I am looking closely at everything crossing my path.  My first Miracle was realising that my intention for this incarnation is to ‘touch lives’ … “How Many Lives Have I Touched?  Have I Touched Yours?” … and, even though I’ve been a bit sad in my heart (and head!), I have noticed that I am still Touching Lives.

A Smile.  A positive comment.  Laughter.  These are the things I do without even realising it.  Even when I am feeling ‘below par’. :-)

Just like those who argue for their limitations and fight to ‘settle’ for less than the best.  Those who drift through life, going with the flow of whatever crosses their paths, not actively pursuing anything Magical or Wonderful or Magnificent.  They are accepting of a more lacklustre life.

I choose to Be Happy.

I choose to Actively Pursue Success.

I am committed to being the Best ME, that I can be.

I Dare to Be Happy.

Do You?

Ease and Grace

Author: Michelle  //  Category: Joy Express

A simple day for the next-to-last day of GRACE week … I actually felt that I achieved what I needed to achieve, with Ease and Grace.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Ease and Grace.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Impeccability Month and Grace Week

Author: Michelle  //  Category: Joy Express

I knew that week 2 of IMPECCABILITY month was going to be the ‘tough’ week … the theme is GRACE and as I thought about my commitments for this week I kind of sensed that ‘keeping my mouth closed’ when I could be ‘saying something’ was going to be essential.

It’s been a tough few days where I’ve had to do things for the ‘greater good’ rather than for what is important to Me.  They haven’t been ‘bad’ things, just not really harmonious with my way of living.  I’ve realised that I live in a bit of a bubble, a coccoon, in my little 5D world and when I spend time out in the ‘normal’ 3D world it’s such a contrast!  A day spent at Australia’s Got Talent, in the city, waiting around for hours for the Off Balance Team to do their display, then sitting for the rest of the afternoon ‘doing the right thing’ and supporting the filming of the show was very draining.  Added to that was driving to the city – which I don’t do – and mother anxiety about the event.  It seemed that finding my centre and getting back to ‘normal’ has taken a few days.

Then, I did another ‘for the greater good’ thing and sent “Lilly” off with Josh and Sierra, on a driving trip to visit grandparents and stay at the family holiday house, in Sydney.

Being a bit anxious about car things, I’ve got used to having “Lilly” around and while it’s absolutely the right thing to give my new, safe car to the kids for their driving holiday, I’m really sad about it!  So, yesterday was a big ‘Yuck’ day!

As I was doing a reading, the GRACE card came up and I read the guidebook with interest … “Be Kind To Yourself” jumped out at me, from the page.  Groan.  I wish I had read this sentence earlier in the day ’cause I may have managed my wellbeing better.

I guess I have learned that honouring where I am at, at any particular moment, is Honouring Me.  Lots of things challenge me and for all the things I manage well, there are a whole lot more that I manage poorly.  Yesterday, I needed ‘me’ to manage and look after Me … I forgot to be kind to myself.  This week, my learning has absolutely been about Being Kind to Michelle!  No matter what!

Thank goodness GRACE week is nearly finished!  This has been tough!  Although … I am looking forward to incorporating what I have learned into my future ‘management’ strategies. :-D
