Sunday Gratitude

Author: Michelle  //  Category: All Things Angels, Joy Express

Life is a bit challenging in my world at the moment.  David is working on a huge project which means he is beyond busy and coping with the stresses such challenges present.  So, I am ‘holding down the fort’ and being mindful of where he is at.  It seems that the ‘project’ is a whole family event, to some degree.  As a result, I have found a lot of my thoughts, this week, running to how ‘not’ alright things are.

Today, I want to see the wonderful things I have happening in my life, instead.

This week, it’s BATCH OF JOY week, on my Simply Angels ~ Pay it Forward calendar.  That means 7 cards will be winging their way through the postal service to say Thank You to those people who have Made A Difference in my life.  But, I’ve changed it up a little from my usual approach.  This time, I am thanking people who I Don’t Know as well as those I know personally!

Cool, huh?

To begin with, we are having a Whole Family Cooking and Preparing Day because Daniel is turning 21, tomorrow, and we are having a family & friends dinner, tonight.  We have all Daniel’s favourite foods to create and then we’ll put them all out on the table at once!  Kels is decorating the living room ~ black and silver streamers and helium balloons; Sierra has made pavlova; Josh is baking muffins and cookies; and David and I will be on ‘savoury’ foods, this afternoon.

I am So Grateful that each person is happy to share in the preparation for this event!

I am Grateful that I have managed and survived 21 years of parenting Daniel!

I am Very Grateful to have such an amazing soul to share my journey with, in this incarnation.

Thank You!

I am also Grateful to those people who have helped us with the process of organising Daniel’s celebration ~ the lovely guy at our local bakery and the delightful lady who organised our balloons.  Thank You!

Other Snapshots of Wondrous Happenings, this week … I am Very Grateful to Lovely Amalia and Lovely Kate, my Mastermind Monday friends, who have managed to INSPIRE me with an awesome goal for 2013 … I am Very Grateful to the Guest Speakers who have committed to coming along and speaking about their Passions at the next Sustenenance for the Soul Gatherings … I am Very Grateful to a Dear Friend who has written an INSPIRED, profound and poignant visualisation for the next Gathering …

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.
